If adults commit adultery, do infants commit infantry? If olive oil is made from olives, what do they make baby oil from? a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian consume? A writer is someone who writes. But fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce, hammers don't ham...If the plural of tooth is teeth, shouldn't the plural of booth be beeth? If they wrote a letter, perhaps they also bote their tongue.
I pulled this off my shelf tonight. This is one of those books that just kept getting pushed down the list and eventually I kind of forgot about it. Going forward I will try and read more of the older stuff on my shelf. I think I've had this one for about 10 years! What is the longest time you have let a book sit on your shelf before you got around to reading it?
#aprilbookshowers, day 21. I haven't been able to ever get into this one (it's a behemoth and takes a lot of logic brain power), but I've always liked the #subtitle
Went back to the library sale with my mom. Unfortunately all the children's books were gone but I did find some more books. These 4 were "gently used" aka basically new, and were only $1 each. Score!
