Adults think of childhood as a carefree time, but the truth is that children worry, and worry a lot, especially in our highly pressurized era. This book addresses children's worries with humor and imagination, as hilarious scenarios teach kids the use of perspective and the art of creative problem-solving.

OMG. I‘m only on day nine of the March Book Photo Challenge. I am truly confronted with difficulty regarding a daily post.😕I never would have imagined how awful I would be at this effort. Don‘t get me wrong, this is really fun, but it has become a worry. I keep thinking that I can catch up. When? Definitely not today!😂 I guess I‘ll keep calm and carry on. #MarchInBooks

DivineDiana The best advice! 👍🏻 7y
JoScho I couldn‘t keep up either. Don‘t sweat it. 😊 7y
Melissa_J I‘ve just given up on daily photo challenges cause I‘m so bad at them! I really only post when I have something that obviously matches the prompt and is close at hand. 7y

maich It is ok😊 You don't need to post every day. Just jump in with today theme on post for today or tomorrow... I appreciate that.❤❤ 7y
BarbaraJean I hear ya... I always start out at the beginning of the month thinking I‘ll do every day of a photo challenge and then bog down mid-month and never catch up! I try to have the mindset of jumping in when I can, rather than getting stressed about missing days. But it‘s hard... give me a list and I feel like I have to follow it! 😝 7y
Nute @DivineDiana It feel like the only advice today. ‘Just carry on!‘ The thumbs up is giving me encouragement. Thanks.🙂 7y
Nute @JoScho It sees like a simple enough thing to accomplish. I really don‘t get the dilemma. I am definitely listening to you. ‘I‘m just not gonna sweat it.‘😊 7y
Nute @Melissa_J I think that things do get a little more challenging when I have to look for books that match the prompt. I was slaying it Day One and Day Two because those books were right in front me, but once I had to locate books to satisfy the prompt it required more time. The funny thing is that I am enjoying myself. I just can‘t keep up. 7y
Nute @maich Thank you for the creation of the Book Photo Challenge for March. I am in awe of folks who meet with every day success. That was my goal. And might still be my goal. We‘ll see.😊 7y
Nute @BarbaraJean I am of the same mindset as you when a task is set before me it is with 100% effort to its completion in fine form that I am about. That is why I am dismayed. Maybe if I had approached it from that perspective in the first place; a prompt here, a prompt there...a noncommittal commitment so to speak then there would be no stress. I plan to just keep at it.🙂 7y
maich @Nute You don't need to worry. Just enjoy and have fun. 7y

This book portrays a worry as a physical creature that lurks nearby and fills children with oversized concerns. My son liked the slightly creepy art style. Wolff really does a good job turning the problem around: showing the reader how to approach their worries differently and "show them the door." I think this is a really great book for anxious children, children who like strange illustrations, or those who just like a good rhyme. #netgalley

This book is a little long winded, but very helpful. All kids worry, and some worry to much. This book is full of ideas to help little ones face their worries, get rid of their worries, or laugh at their worries. It has an older style of art like what you might see in the Miss Nelson books, but I like that. They are colorful and work well with the story.

Bambolina_81 I liked this too. I liked how the worry shrinks but is always lurking somewhere in the illustrations. 7y

Thank you #netgalley for this book that helps children learn about how to avoid worrying. It gives them sweet ideas for distraction and at the end worry is banished from the house. Great illustrations that see 'worry' hiding in different parts of the pictures...Sometimes it's quite difficult to spot him but he's lurking!

I love this sweet kid's book about worrying. It has such a fun, gentle way of talking about worrying and overcoming worries. The graphics are great too! Does anyone have any suggestions for other kid's books on worrying and anxiety? I'm actually looking for more in the middle readers category. I would appreciate any suggestions!
