I enjoyed this - a little dark, but kept me up late to finish it.

Pickpick

A really cool detective thriller. The murders were creepy (think the series Hannibal or True Detective), there was rare/odd history for the historical fiction fan, and an unpredictable ending. Talty seems to take some liberties with geography in an otherwise faithful book, but they don't take away from the experience.

drokka I'm glad to see a story set in this part of the world. 7y

Tsk tsk, Talty. The Peace bridge does not connect Buffalo to Niagara falls. 😟 Fact check better

CouronneDhiver Hahaha! I totally didn't catch that when I read this a couple weeks back. 🚗 7y
heatherkaz I know I'm listening to it in traffic so my reading comprehension may not be 100%, but I'm definitely catching some geographical errors! 🤷 7y
CoverToCoverGirl Is it any good? It's next up for me in audio. 7y
heatherkaz @CoverToCoverGirl , it is good. It's got really sick, twisted crime scenes and a little bit of obscure history mixed in. I'm getting hung up on these little details because I live in the area, but don't let that deter you! 7y
CoverToCoverGirl @heatherkaz Thanks .. I'm quite intrigued by the blurb and have been really looking forward to listening to this one. 7y
