pickI loved this book so much that I wound up buying it when I was halfway through instead of just sticking to the library copy! Sherry & John are bloggers and this book is full of ways to just show your house some love. I especially enjoyed the tutorials on making no sew curtains, refinishing wood and veneer furniture, and papering the back of a bookcase! But there‘s SO many tips and tricks I‘m going to try to implement in our home!
What can I say, I‘m a sucker for a good #transformation. Show me a "before", I HAVE to see an "after." That is why I loved YHL's blog. Unfortunately, as an apt dweller reading it, I got a bit of hubris going. Sure I could replace a toilet!* The instructions and description is right there. I can follow directions, right? Then we bought a house.
I'm humbler now.
