I loved this story. You don‘t find conjoined twins as main characters ... well, ever. I liked both sisters — very different personalities. I liked the focus on their new friendships and how much they wanted to help the family, not be a burden.

I laughed often. I cried a little. I hugged the book hard.

Told in verse, this is a great novel to hand to some reluctant readers. From West 44 Books. So glad I found these — current, relevant, engaging for reluctant readers.

Snub takes on the mother role well. Trying to get home, the trio face many obstacles.

This could have been a one sitting read — I got started on it late and my eyes were drying out 😂

This is a story that needs to be shared. I can‘t think of another that covers this side of the justice system for teens.

I was captivated by Xiomara and her story. Parts were heartbreaking. I‘m glad I got to know her and Twin. There was a moment near the end where I thought I was going to abandon the book — or throw it across the room. But I didn‘t have to and the end made this book #huggable 🙂
