pickThis was my first book by Willig and will not be the last! A quietly written book that spans two time eras, it‘s a historical fiction about family, love, and with an added mystery. It‘s pretty easy to guess how the story unfolds, but Willig does such a lovely job keeping the reader interested that it‘s fun to see how the characters will take the clues.

kspenmoll I enjoyed this book-loved the alternating stories, the contrasts between environments of NY, Africa, England- her descriptions evoked such a sense of place for me- 7y
