There are lots of books with body parts on the cover. I could take pictures of half my shelves.😆 But I chose Me Before You because it is one of my favourite books and I recommend it again and again to read. It's a very emotionally powerful book that has so much more to it than just a story.

This story I would not use personally in my classroom in an elementary setting, however it is a beautiful read that could be incorporated in high school with a move pairing.

Me Before You written by Jojo Moyes(2012) is a contemporary realistic fiction book that is a look upon adult relationships, personal choices, and emotional complexities that can resonate with older teens or young adults. It sensitively approaches real-life issues such as independence, caregiving, and the struggle for control over one's life, which can be eye-opening for younger readers about adult life.

Not your typical romance especially in today‘s standards but intimate nonetheless. A reread for me but a book that I hold near to my heart. Hopefully have enough bravery to continue with the series to see where Louisa‘s life goes!
