So happy to hear The End. Been listening to off & on since my Austen in August reread of Northanger Abbey. Thought I should have a frame of reference to what Jane Austen was poking fun at. I could only take so much of the Histrionics & would bail for awhile. Apparently no Editors in 1794 when this was published. It rambles on and on. Finally I can get this 31 h 15 m 42 s mess off my phone. 🙄

After Finishing Northanger Abbey today, began looking for any news on The Austen Project. Apparently ithas faded away due to poor response or lack of Authors willing to do. No sign of Mansfield Park or Persuasion. Of the 4 Pride and Prejudice and Emma were Picks. Sense and Sensibility and Northanger Abbey were Pans. So make whole series a So-So. 😏

I'm a Bad Janeite. I've never read Jane Austen's last unfinished novel Sanditon. Now that it's coming to PBS I was looking for it in Print. Found it Half Price Books in Austin. 🏖

While Pride and Prejudice was my first Austen love, I love Northanger Abbey just as much. I love the satire and the cheekiness but best of all it has Henry Tilney. Charming, Witty, AND a Novel Reader! 😍
