pickCalendar changes from Aug to Sep and suddenly I'm super busy. This book was my constant companion this week. Took a break to enjoy Ricotta Pancakes w/ Banana Pecan syrup and a London Fog. Last of my #austeninaugust2019 reads. I'm actually glad I was so busy because it forced me to slow down & savor book. The most insightful book on Austen I have ever read. Glad I bought a Print copy because it's definitely a keeper. 📚🍌🤓

After visiting Chatsworth and Lyme Park, I often mused which one was the Inspiration for Pemberley this quote seems to answer:

Happy Friday! We kick off the Weekend with the Jane's Addiction Cocktail. Gin and Pomegranate Juice, Splash of Lime, and Topped with Pink Bubbles. Sadly I didn't have any Raspberries to Garnish; but I can as the book says "ponder Jane's Love of Love. Tastes a bit like a grown up Hawaiian Punch.???

Nice use of fresh Sage leaves in the Summer. 🍸
