Today's #AuthorFeature subject: my favorite #horror author, Jennifer McMahon! As you can see, I own all of her books because I love them so much. All of her horror books feature a mystery with paranormal elements, and she switches back and forth between the past and the present to reveal clues. Whether you're into reading about serial killers, fairies, zombies, haunted dolls, or witches, you'll find it here - and you'll sleep with the lights on!

Jess_Franzino Love a good paranormal mystery! I‘ll have to check out some books by this author 😃 7y
leahrosereads I've only read The Winter People and Night Sister so far, but I'm really hoping to get to her backlist soon. Both of those books were incredible! 7y
rightasrain13 @Jess_Franzino I highly recommend it! In my opinion you can't go wrong with her 😄 7y

rightasrain13 @leahrosereads You should definitely check out the rest of her stuff! Out of those two, the Winter People was my favorite I think - so spooky. What about you? 7y
leahrosereads @rightasrain13 Oh yeah, the Winter People was by far my favorite. I preferred the overall atmosphere of it to The Night Sister. I think I'm going to try Burn Town before going to her other works, but Im not sure. What do you think? 7y
Jess_Franzino @rightasrain13 I‘ll add one of her books to my June reads. What‘s the title of the one about the spooky doll? 7y
rightasrain13 @Jess_Franzino That would be Dismantled - the doll is so creepy, I still get chills thinking about it! 7y
rightasrain13 @leahrosereads I definitely agree - I liked the Winter People better! I think it's actually one of my favorites of hers. Burntown was not my favorite, but it's obviously still really good, so you can't go wrong really no matter what order you read them in 😊 7y

It's time for my first #AuthorFeature! I've loved Deb Caletti from the very first page of The Six Rules of Maybe, my first and favorite foray into Caletti's writing. She excels at creating beautifully flawed characters and interesting moral dilemmas for them to struggle through. Her books make me laugh, they make me cry, and her writing style is a dream. Check her out and you will not be disappointed! #ya #youngadultfiction #debcaletti
