WOW! I did not think that Circe would match my newfound love of The Song of Achilles, but it has. This is a beautifully crafted story with stunning prose that I would definitely read again. Circe‘s story is tragic in a way that makes it captivating rather than depressing, and the ending is just what I hoped. There are a smattering of quotes throughout that really capture tones of today‘s feminist stance as well that I thought was brilliant.
