Another win for #HubbysChoice I very much enjoyed this book, even though it‘s steeped in tragedy, that distinctly Australian sense of the ridiculous shines through. I have yet to see the movie but Hubs is a fan so I guess I‘ll be watching it soon. After the Hubs success at choosing my #FairyTaleRetelling book the other night, I gave him another shot when I couldn‘t make up my mind between these wonderful novels for my next read. From all these, he‘s chosen The Dressmaker coz he saw the movie the other night & loved it.
