panIt was a struggle for me to finish the book. If it hadn‘t been a book club pick, it is not a book I would have read or finished. I just didn‘t “get it.” A talking crow and other magical elements had me guessing what direction this book was going in. The author did however create a great sense of community and showed how supportive the members in town were for each other. I won‘t be recommending this book to others.
