pickThis review is for the graphic novel or illustrated version of Booked. As with Alexander‘s Crossover, it‘s about much more than sports. In this one, Nick deals with some difficult situations while also playing soccer. He has a great support system in his family, best friend, and the school librarian. There are also a lot of literary references and interesting vocabulary with definition footnotes.
