Why did I let this languish on my shelf for so long. It‘s a cute rom-com with great dialogue and characters you can‘t help but really care about. There‘s just one thing that bothered me which I‘ll put under spoilers in the comments, but mostly I really enjoyed this. (PS Bailey is being a brat so I made her a book prop 😈)

DGRachel There‘s a big scandal that calls to mind the #butheremails scandal that cost Hilary Clinton the 2016 election. A lot of the politics in this book brought to mind the horror of that election and its consequences, which we‘re still living with, so that was hard and took some of the comedy out of this contemporary romance novel. 😭 3y
