Pickpick

Antonia loved going to the movies in hopes she would see her mother on the screen. Her selfish mom left her for Hollywood early on, her distraught and heartbroken dad left her with live-in sitters all the time, and Antonia learned how to become invisible. She became a screenwriter and a thoughtful wise person, despite her parents, and this is her story

Invisible with Daniel Steele's latest novel, one that I found quite enjoyable. Antonia Adams perfects the art of invisiblity as a child living with her parents and surviving their loveless marriage and countless arguments. Her father can never forgive her mother for leaving and Antonia is a constant reminder of her mother's sins. Movies become her escape, her refuge, and ignites her dream of becoming a screen writer. TheHeartlandBookFairy I loved how this story unfolded. It is typical Daniel Steele in the way that a good person has bad things happened to them, they they overcome, more bad things happen, but with means and money, and perseverance, they overcome once again, and live happily ever after. If you like happy endings, you'll love this book! And I truly found this story unique and enjoyable to read. Is Danielle Steele is truly the ultimate storyteller. 3y
