A truly rubbish PicCollage for my 10 book choices to finish before the end of 2024....but at least I haven't thrown my phone at the wall. I chose to give up making it look better instead 😉

Looking forward to all of these. One (The Secret History) is a reread but it was a decade ago I read it and it sailed though without making much of a dent, so will be like new.

Ruthiella I re-read The Secret History 20 odd years after I first read it and and liked it just as much the second time around! 👍 4mo

rwmg @Ruthiella That's interesting. I re-read it after a similar gap and didn't enjoy it nearly as much the second time round. It was pre-LT so I don't really remember why beyond finding the characters rather tiresome. 4mo

Ruthiella @rwmg The characters are all pretty awful people (even Richard the narrator), but I still found them interesting. I think like Richard, I was seduced (twice) by their aura. 4mo
