so-soI am finally able to review this! I‘ve been running the campaign for close to two years now and we‘re going into the finale in July (which is not in the book). I replaced the Icewind Dale setting with Eiselcross from Wildmount. Nothing major was changed but I thought I‘d mention it.

(Not sure how to attach a photo in Canva) but for my next #Book20 read I got a nat20. That means my next book is Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk. I didn't expect to be jumping back into horror but I'm sure it will still be refreshing.
pickIn a nutshell: fantasy suitable for people who like the fantasy genre but struggle to read it.
RA Salvatore's writing is engaging, and he doesn't bog it down with unnecessarily lengthy descriptions - great for someone with ADHD (like me). The descriptions are easy to visualize, and the fight scenes are easy to follow. While Drizzt can be frustratingly naive, it's difficult not to like him, and the environment around him keeps you on your toes.

Ok so I have about 200 more pages left in this book and thought I‘d stop for the night as I have a major headache… but it‘s only 200pgs and I‘ve already read 480pgs today… but 🤦🏼♀️🧠 my brain hurts so I‘m stopping… I couldn‘t put it down before because it‘s addictive I need to know what‘s happening.. I‘ll have to wait until tomorrow now
So I was reading the book on the right but the book on the left I‘ve been waiting for since last week so I‘m switching to it since now I have the whole series
Just a few book I picked up at B&N today and the bag was feee 🙌🏽 … not that I need more on my tbr pile but I got them anyway 🙌🏽📚

Overall a slow week reading, even if I stayed on track for daily readings. I finished The Martian! That was pretty great. I started another Silvia Moreno-Garcia novel and am already loving it.
I can't wait for my hand to heal so I can read in bed again.
A while back I bought books 9 and 10 of The Legend of Drizzt series (I thought I would be reading them sooner, but my TBR got away from me). At the time, they only had those older copies on the left. And as you can see, I‘m collecting the newer paperback versions. I finally found the newer ones for book 9 and 10 and I‘m so happy! Time to sell/donate the older two 😁

The middle part has nothing to do with the main plotline. It‘s essentially a side quest to grind levels. The players had no motivation to engage with it. It was mostly dungeon crawls, fortresses, nothing unusual or special.

Also, if your players/characters like animals ignore the awakened animals part because that is all they will focus on.
