I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

I didn‘t really care for this one. I‘m just not sure if it was that I was not in the mood for it or if it was the book wasn‘t that great. I usually enjoy Sarah Sundin. Maybe it was me.

The immersive writing of this historical fiction novel drew me into Europe during World War 1, with secret missions, danger, duty, spies, double agents and messages written using secret codes. There were also themes of love, loyalty and strong ties of friendship in this well written book. I really enjoyed this book!

This was a very well-written story. You felt the struggles of the characters. The suspense kept you turning the pages. I enjoyed the history being brought to life in such an exciting way. Even though Else was terrified she still had the courage to do what was right. May we learn from her!

I received this book from the publisher for my honest review.

22 #80 This is the first of a trilogy I believe. Historical fiction with a Christian slant. Very well done. Can‘t wait to get into the next one.
