I didn‘t realize this was a (very) short story when I downloaded it from kindle unlimited, but it was cute and perfect for December! I like the way Meghan Quinn writes and wish this was a full novel. Book #82 in 2023

Book #82
4.5/5
I was completely convinced for the first half of the book that I knew exactly who dunnit. I wasn't entirely wrong, but there was a LOT more to it than what I thought. This book kept me guessing, and I was suspicious of several people before the pieces all cam together in the end. Definitely worth a read for fans of the thriller/mystery genres.

A fantastic plot!! I loved the connections between the characters, they‘re not all direct but they are all linked. Then end came but didn‘t feel hurried, although I‘d love more detail on Jack and his uncle instead of the gloss over they were given. Book #82 in 2022

I tried to read this book, and couldn't get into it, so I thought I would listen to it, and I feel it was a bit better, but still my mind kept wondering.

ReadingisMyPassion His books are not easy reads, but I enjoyed them. 1y

This one tool a long while to get to the point. We knew it was to be Michael and Francesca but man did they delay themselves. It was a worthwhile journey though, especially with the addition of the second epilogue. #82-2022

On a roll today! I finally finished the Shadow and Bone trilogy, 3 years after completing book 2 (which was so-so). It was a good finale. It‘s brutal and violent (which I forgot about) but also definitely lives in the YA space. The ending was a little abrupt but still satisfying overall. 3.5⭐️

This is a new version of the Peter Pan story starting with Wendy returning from Neverland without John and Michael. I listened to the audiobook and it was excellent. Peter comes back for Wendy‘s help…again. This book kind of makes the fairytale make sense. I can‘t say more without spoiling. Really good! #100YEARS100BOOKS #82 #BookSpinBingo #8 #TALESandTAILSforADULTS #9 #FAIRYTALECHALLENGE #20in4 #AUDIOJUNE
