ha_kaye The illustrations done by Julianna Swaney are beautiful and compliment the story perfectly. Since this book was published on March 26, 2019; I was not able to find any specific class activities. ha_kaye EL strategy 46, use discovery learning activities (hands-on-activities) would be perfect if a hands-on lesson on gardening followed the reading of this book. UDL principle 1.1, offer ways of customizing the display of information, would tie the literature aspect of the story and the science aspect of the hands-on gardening activity together.
