Animosity #1 | Marguerite Bennett, Rafael de Latorre
post image
Pickpick

Marguerite Bennett has constructed a great apocalyptic drama where the animals gain humanlike intellect. She layers the story with mystery, conspiracy, and even humor. Artist Rafael De Latorre & colorist Rob Schwager deserve praise for bringing this story and its many animals to life. I won't wait for the next trade; I plan to go buy the individual issues. Even my dog Wicket looks intrigued. #comicbooks #margueritebennett #Animosity

TobeyTheScavengerMonk Where does it fall on a scale of 1 to Mort(e)? 8y
BillBlume @TobeyTheScavengerMonk tough to compare them. They are radically different in their approach to the concept. I loved them both. 8y

Finally cracking into Animosity tonight. Bought the trade "The Wake" which collects the first four issues of the series. The opening issue in the series is brilliant. #Animosity #comicbook #MargueriteBennett #graphicnovel

INSEXTS Vol. 1: Chrysalis | Marguerite Bennett, Ariela Kristantina (Illustrator)

Decided to break up my reading of Un Lun Dun with this graphic novel. I'd previously read the first issue but fell behind on later issues. So far, I've read the first two issues in here, and I love the introductory letter by Marguerite Bennett. Provides a perfect context for the "erotic body horror" story that follows. #InSexts #GraphicNovel #erotic #horror #MargueriteBennett #ArielaKristantina #bodyhorror #bodyimage
