I don‘t know why I have such a hard time with most of her books. This one took me a while to get through and I can‘t say exactly why!

Jasmine Guillory writes such solid books. Margot and Luke's familial relationships were just as developed as their romantic one, and I loved the setting! What a good escape from dreary fall weather. #contemporaryromance
Quick, easy read…I like JG‘s books. The relationship between Luke and Margot starts hot and heavy only to be put on hold when he finds out she is his new boss.
Decanting a Murder, A Sommelier Mystery #1 was our May book club choice. This book opens with Katie Stillwell learning that she has failed the sommelier exam. Katie's lifelong best friend Tessa, factors into this story quite quickly followed by a host of other characters. I was immediately intrigued by Katie's character and wanted to learn more about her and her journey to become a sommelier. I took an instant dislike to her (cont in comments)...
This may be my favorite of Guillory‘s romances: the leads were likable and mostly made reasonable choices, the conflict was believable (mostly), and the resolution felt real. The cameo of friends from previous books was nice but not enough! I expect to see the brother‘s story sometime, too.
I have this dream ALL THE TIME! I keep trying to tell them I already have college degrees and shouldn‘t be there and they tell me I have to finish something that got overlooked.
