Ruthiella I liked this one. It was maybe overly long, but I enjoyed the convoluted story. 2y

A Little Life: A Novel | Hanya Yanagihara

A little bit of "light" reading over the Christmas break. I started each of these books in 2016, but they've taken me a while to get through because of the nature of the content, especially #ALittleLife, which has been heartbreaking to read.

GidgetsTreasures75 @Megabooks I loved it! 5 stars for sure! I was worried because when I picked it up it was so heavy and long but it held my interest the whole time! 5y

Starting this few days ago!first work of #NathanHill, #thenix ...can‘t wait to see if al the great reviews are valid...by the way, it‘s really a massive book! ❤️

Bloomingjen I bought this a couple of months ago but havent read it. what was your opinion? 7y
Pat1287 Well, for me it‘s a good debut novel...sometimes a little bit pretentious in some passages (a read somewhere that Nathan Hill ‘s writing was similar to David foster Wallace or Delillo...not at all, these two are so much better for me..) but you can understand how kind of writing is this one...the story is really interesting, compelling and Hill, for me, he‘s an acute observer of american society...one flaw: too dull for me the “happy ending”... 7y
