julesG @Cinfhen I used to start new classes with 'My Name Is' - - - most of the students were probably surprised I listened to this music. You know, not exactly being part of the target group etc. 7y
Smartypants @Cinfhen @julesG fellow hip hop lover here, I used to say the west has good beats and the east has great lyrics until #2pac hit the scene. When I moved to the south in my late teenage years, southern rap intrigued me because #outkast and #getoboys didn‘t fit in with the east vs west battle. 7y

mrp27 @emilyhaldi Ohh that sounds good, I'm going to have to watch. Not a super huge hip hop/rap fan today but I grew up in the late 80's early 90's in the shadows of LA and gangster rap. Was a fan back in the day. 7y
