About to start this modern Jane Eyre retelling for a book tour review later this month. I think that seeing the #ghost or ghostly presence of the dead wife of the man you are falling for (& who is accused of killing her) would leave a person quite conflicted. 🤭👻😱
There‘s a ghost-y element to this novel, which is mostly about how the history of one family and of Ireland itself is haunting for the characters.
