This book is perfect for young children to look at and get lost in their imagination.
Time flies is a book about a bird flight through prehistoric and present times. Images in this picture book jump from dinosaur bones to actual dinosaurs.
A quote I loved from this book is “Friends are always there for you to lean on.“ I love this because it's so true and really shows children the value of friendship.
I would use this book in my classroom to discuss friendship and shapes. To use it for shapes, I would use this with young children to introduce shapes and what we know about them. I would allow them the opportunity to find these shapes around the classroom.
Friendshape by Amy Rosenthal was published in 2015. The book discusses friendship through colors and shape. The illustrations are easy for young children to see and they can make connections to items that have seen with the same shape.
