If you‘re struggling with deep emotions which might come from your inner child then I would suggest you this book.
It is based on buddhism and at the end of the book you can find some practices to heal your inner child.
I will definetly use some for myself 💛

I‘m about half way through this book and it is amazing. This book is really designed to connect with the readers and weaves in historical facts in a way that really does make an impact. I HIGHLY recommend reading this one, Litsy!

despite having read quite a bit about residential schools, there were still a couple of surprising things (not good surprising). Of course, when he finished school, he had issues (the alcoholism), but it was good to see how he got himself better and is doing good to help others, as well. I thought this was really good.

Now Manitoba Premier, Kinew shares a rich story of his journey, as well as that of his father who survived residential school, through pain, racism, and substance abuse to healing and leadership. He honestly covers key elements in Canada‘s Indigenous history, insights into spiritual and cultural practices, and his own path towards being a writer and commentator with his father becoming a key national leader.

The Witness Blanket has just arrived at our Library. I‘m somewhat overwhelmed by it and this book helps make sense of some of those feelings.

rockpools Wow. That‘s beautiful but 💔. I googled and just the website is pretty overwhelming. 2y
