These books continue the Dust Lands series started with Blood Red Road, and this western, futuristic dystopian series has to be one of my recent favorites. Following the perilous adventures of Saba and her friends, there are some heartbreaking moments, but I enjoyed it overall. #Riotgrams

Books 5 & 6 for #SixBy6/6—finished on the 5th.

Quirkybookworm I only read the first one but knew there were going to be two more but....5th and 6th? Okay I need to steal 2nd and 3rd from someone!! I‘ve got some catching up to do!*ignores tbr pile wails* 7y
hes7 @Quirkybookworm Don‘t worry—it‘s only a trilogy. The 5 & 6 are referring to the books I‘ve read for the #SixBy6/6 tag. 7y
tonyahoswalt I really enjoyed this series! I got several other people into them when I was doing Teen Services at my library. 7y
SledgeReader @hes7 Great recommendation. Forwarding this to my YA Team!👍 7y

This contemporary romance is loosely based on Snow White‘s fairy tale. There‘s nothing particularly unique in it, but it‘s a quick, fun read.

Book 4 for #SixBy6/6—finished on the 2nd.

(I received a free copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.)

Samplergal Yay! You did some work early on! Good job. 7y

Despite the ominous title, this is one of the most entertaining, humorous books I‘ve read in a while. Denton Little knows the day he will die, but when that day arrives, it proves more eventful than anticipated. Through it all, Denton adds comments full of lighthearted, gallows humor, and it was impossible for me not to enjoy it.

Book 3 for #SixBy6/6—finished on the 2nd.

Emilie Day has spent years protecting herself from the world, thanks to her epilepsy. Now, as she begins to attend public school again, she must confront her fear. With moments of friendship, romance, and discovering everyone has challenges to overcome, this was the type of good-hearted YA I needed to read last week. I loved it.

Book 2 for #SixBy6/6—finished on the 1st.

(I received a free copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.)

keys_on_fire Curious to read this, as I had epilepsy as a child. Thanks for sharing! 7y
Samplergal Yay!! Sounds like a good book. 7y

I‘ve been reading this for a while, just trying to get through it for #MountTBRChallenge. There were maybe 4 stories in here that were good, and most of the rest just super creepy or annoying. I kept thinking that I‘d like the next one better, but that rarely happened. On the up side, this is 6/6 for #Sixby6/6!
Yay!

Samplergal You did it!! Congratulations! 7y
Pamwurtzler @Samplergal thanks! And thanks for hosting! 7y
Chelleo I really need to get back to my #MountTBR instead of fooling around with the #GreatAmericanRead 7y
Pamwurtzler @Chelleo I need to concentrate more on mine too! It‘s sometimes not as much fun though! 7y

I‘m really talking about Diamond Girl, a short story in Julie Mulhern‘s Country Club murders series. This one is told from the housekeeper‘s point of view. Not quite as good as the full novels, but I still liked it and the next installment in the series will be out in 2 weeks. Yay! Also, 4/6 of #Sixby6/6

Samplergal You can do this! Great job. 7y
