pickDCI Simon Serrailler returns to work after losing his arm. After a burglary, Simon makes a serious error of judgment when handling the incident. Stress from this and the trauma of losing his arm finds Simon in jeopardy with his job. There are a few more subplots that keep the book hard to put down. I am now awaiting the next book in order to find out more about things going on in Simon‘s life. One of the better books in the series. Recommended.
