Six of Crows | Leigh Bardugo

I finished my #reread and I have to say I still love it as much, if not more, as on the first time around. I had forgotten most of what happens in the first half so it was almost like reading a whole new book. Very happy to have read it again! #translatedbooks

It‘s finally here!! I‘ve been craving a Six of Crows #reread for a few months now and when I saw it was getting published in Finnish this summer I decided to wait for that. I can‘t wait to dive back into Ketterdam and see how everything is translated!! #translatedbooks

My library hold for the third book came in yesterday so I decided to make my way through the rest of this quickly. And boy what a ride it was. I liked this one a lot better than the first book and I can‘t wait to see how the story plays out. I liked the new characters this book introduced a lot and the plot was also more interesting. Onto the last one! #translatedbooks

This book was sadly disappointing. I really wanted to like it because it deals with an important subject but I just didn‘t. I didn‘t really care about the characters and many times I went “are allo people really like that???” which certainly didn‘t help. The ending was also a let down for me but that‘s because of the expectations I had going in to it. #translatedbooks

This was a solid sequel. I liked the new characters we got to follow and the mystery was quite good. I just wish I didn‘t realise what was going on before the end, I really wanted to be surprised. I didn‘t enjoy this quite as much as the first book but it was still a definite pick! #translatedbooks

This book stole my heart. Going in I wasn‘t sure I was going to like it but I enjoyed the hell out of it. There were times I had to force myself to stop listening and that doesn‘t happen often😂 The characters were all super interesting and the plot kept me guessing for a long time. The only way I could‘ve enjoyed this more would‘ve been to read it in English as the translation irked me more than once. #translatedbooks

I feel like I just flew right through this one it was so good! I was so excited to be back in the Grishaverse and this didn‘t disappoint. I loved learning more about the world even though I didn‘t really connect with any of the characters but I can‘t to see where they go from here. Good fun! Oh, and the translation was also amazing! #translatedbooks

I did some #audioknitting while finishing this one! I liked the beginning of the book and it had some funny bits but overall it wasn‘t really my cup of tea. #translatedbooks

My first finished book of 2021! This was just okay to me. I liked everything else about it except the main plot. The art was super nice and I‘m glad I picked this up from the library but it didn‘t stand out to me as much as I would‘ve liked. #translatedbooks
