Very good. Sequel to The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. Focuses on the sister of the main character in the first novel. Shows how she deals with the consequences of her parents and the society she was brought up in . Emotional and beautifully written I was gripped throughout the book.

Very good. Continues the story of his successful career. This focuses on his rise to fame. Feels like he talking to you rather than writing a story as his turn of phrase is so informal and that is what makes it such a wonderful book.

Very good. Enjoyed reading a different perspective on a much told story. If you are looking for a book on the murders of Jack the Ripper then this book isn't for you as this book looks into the victims and their lives before their infamous deaths. It offers the chance for them to defend themselves against the term used for them as 'Prostitutes' . This books shows how that term was just used as a cover all term for poor women. Highly recommended.

Very good. Was gripped all the way through. Questioned my idea of history and how things can spin on a single person or event, even the ending suggested that if something had been done that wasn't done would the whole story I had read would have been totally different. Recommend. 📖📚

Very good. Enjoyed start to finish. It is written by the author which gives it that edge as you know that the stories told will not be manipulated by a ghost writer and 'softened' but it is also open to loss of memory by the author. Recommend
