Definitely enjoying the cooler temperatures today.

📕I will finish the Matt Helm today. I picked it up at a FLL along with the James Bond books last week.

📘Handling Sin is my last #Roll100 for September and a bit of a struggle.

📗Loving my revisit to Brideshead for #HashtagBrigade and am reading far, far ahead of planned as a result.

RamsFan1963 I remember the Matt Helm movies with Dean Martin. He's played like an American James Bond, Martin wasn't much of an actor, but they could still be enjoyed for their campiness. 2d

Ruthiella @RamsFan1963 I used to love Dean Martin-Jerry Lewis movies as a kid. 😅 Apparently the Matt Helm movies were quite different from the books. But for sure I can see a tie to Fleming‘s Bond, who is also quite different from his film counterpart. (edited) 2d
