I thought I‘d reviewed this 😔 I finished multiple books at a time and was trying to review them all and forgot some along the way, I guess. This one is a hard one to review which might be a reason as well. But Columbine was a really interesting and gripping read, but a heartbreaking one. It still left me wondering and still wanting answers. I can only imagine what the parents and those who lost loved ones feel.

I thought I had already reviewed this one here but alas I have not 😬 so here I go 😁…I love history. Not all history, mind you, but still lots of certain history. Anyway, this is on the Plantagenets. The rise and fall of them. There was much turmoil within all this family. I believe it was the reason for their downfall. A house divided cannot stand. .Great read, ifyoulikehistory.

We do not care that ____ is happening in the world. Wait 🫢….yes I do care. But I don‘t need to hear about it each second ! Please news give it a rest!! Who started news every second of every day anyway??!! When did that start?? It should never have started that‘s for sure! Thank the Good Lord we can change the channel!
Rant about news constantly, over 😂
#wedonotcarewednesday
WOW is all I can say on this one. I gave it 4🌟s. It‘s about a southern church town and you won‘t believe what‘s going on in that small town. Shew. I‘m just glad it‘s fiction 😂 but if you like psychological thrillers you will like this one.

Happy Weekend you all! I‘ve been reading this book all day. I‘m almost done so should be reviewing soon. I have to say I‘ve never really read a book quite this disturbing with the characters. I‘m glad it‘s fiction just saying 😂 #LitsyReads #weekendreads #saturdayreading
The Last Secret Agent: My Life As A Spy Behind Nazi Lines by Pippa Latour and Jude Dobson
Genre: Non-fiction
POV: Author Pippa Latour
Location: Early years: South Africa and years in World War II: France
Rating: 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this book! Pippa Latour was the last secret agent in WWII. Yes she was a woman. Yes there were women secret agents behind enemy lines in France and were in many dangerous situations. This is an absolute Must Read.
Started this one a week or so ago and I‘ve been reading it most all day. I‘m getting to the good part now or at least I think it is 😆 . It was a slow start for me but it‘s picking up now. #LitsyReads #psychologicalthriller #sundayreading #fiction #ReadYourKindle
Happy Sunday everyone! Hope your day is full of reading blessings!
Just started this recently in the last couple days. About 2-3 chapters in. I don‘t know if I‘m going to like it or not. I‘m sure it‘s good but not sure if it‘s one of those I‘m indifferent to right now. But I will keep reading and find out. This is my Book of the Month for June and I‘m just now getting to read it. 🤨🙂🌷Hope everyone is having a good Thursday!
This book was good but okay good. It was up and down for me so I gave 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️s. I thought it was more of a history of Mount Rushmore, but it seemed more of a history of Native American people that lived there and lives there now. And I sympathize with them for sure but just thought it was a different type of story & it was up & down on that. So it was good but just so so for me this time.

1. The Pastor‘s Wife - Just started today. Downloaded from Kindle Unlimited so it was free.😃
2. The Last Secret Agent - Started recently . Will be continuing. 🙂 Net Galley Arc.
3. Columbine - Started recently as well. Will be continuing. This one is hard to read. 😔 Received through Kindle Unlimited.
4. The Plantagenets - History doesn‘t hurt anyone, if taken in the right context. And I love me some history🙂. Also an Arc.

Sorry I‘ve been MIA but I‘ve been really busy and tired from trying to organize my house and take care of my mother at the same time. But The Last Secret Agent is a new book I‘ve started reading this past week. I am only into it a chapter or two, maybe three, but so far it‘s very interesting. Can‘t wait to read more. #LitsyReads #2025Reads #SundayReading #NetGalley #nonfiction #memoir
I really liked this Christian fiction by Jill Eileen Smith! Great fiction faith-filled writing . My first by this author. I will have to get more of her books because I really liked this one. A fictional story of what maybe might have happened from her point of view. I can only imagine what it was like to walk with Christ face to face. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just giving a heads up…I didn‘t finish this book. I will be shelving and maybe giving another try another time. . I just couldn‘t get into it. Didn‘t want to pick it up and read it. So I don‘t like forcing myself to read something I‘m not interested in. Nothing to do with the author at all. Just me. I may pick it up again sometime. What I read there was no bad language or inappropriate content that I remember. ⭐️⭐️ #DNF #LitsyReads #fiction

A Last Hope by Verity Sandahl. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really liked this beautiful faith entwined story of a Royal couple to be married when they came of age but evil always comes to mess with everything good. I loved it! Clean romance. From not trusting to realizing they‘re the only one who they can trust. It is a beautiful story to me.

Just sharing my mom‘s/daughter‘s kitty 🐱 His name is RaRa or just Ra. I can‘t have cats because my husband is severely allergic (cannot breathe around them 🥺) so I live my cat life with my daughter‘s cats 🐈🐈⬛🐕 (and dogs) 😂
Hope everyone is having a good #saturday . #chatterday - Sitting here with our power off. 🤨 Yesterday it was out during the day, came back on in evening. 😃 Then bad storm hitinthenight, powerwentoutagain&itsstillout🫤

Started this evening. So far so good what I‘ve read. This was my BOTM for April, but I didn‘t get to it to read it, so I‘m reading it for May 🙂🌷🌱 Hope everyone had a great Tuesday! Oh yeah! I love the cover of this book! I know it‘s not this great beauty but there‘s something about it that just makes me just want to keep looking 👀 at it ☺️😁

Wonderful book and story from Steven Curtis Chapman! Loved it! So full of wisdom and insight into our Lord and how good and holy he is! Very emotional as well.

Loved this book by James Collins! The book listed at top of my post is not this book, as you can see 😂 but this book I‘m reviewing wasn‘t listed so I couldn‘t post unless I picked a book…..so…the book at top is a book by him, but The Overcomer is his newest. Recommend to anyone, but especially anyone needing help with overcoming and struggling through some challenges and needs some help.

Okay I liked this one, but I thought the dark library was actually dark and scary 🫣. I guess it is kind of 🤔 but not in the way I thought. 😂 Anyway…it‘s a 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to me. I recommend to anyone who likes mysteries, and stories with timeline around WWII. There is hardly no language, if any, and no sexual content. (Just in case some would like to know) It kept me interested from start to finish. 🙂📚
#LitsyReads #NetGalley #Read2025
1. Yes, always. Never know when you will need it.
2. The God of the Woods: The main family of this book is wealthy and yes in this book it does affect the character/characters, not in a good way but a bad way. Money to me is something we all have to have. Some have more than others. And it can be used in a bad way or a good way. Just like not being wealthy can affect you in a good or bad way. We all have the same choices, to be good or 2b bad.
Loved this book on Cherokee Native American History! I have always been interested in the Cherokee because my Grandma told my dad about her mother telling her they were part Cherokee. So I‘ve always been very curious about the Cherokee. It‘s very interesting, informative, and fascinating. I loved it!
Well this novel is a WOW in my opinion! I just want to say it does have language throughout the book. Not an extreme lot, but it was there.. Anyway…about the story and characters. The story , characters and ending is THRILLING. I mean I really liked it! What I liked most was the ending ‼️ I did not know who the killer of the girls were until the very end‼️Such a twist ‼️and wasn‘t expecting it at all! I gave it 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Great read! #Read2025
Started this one recently. So much information on the Bible! And it‘s a chonker too 😁

Starting tonight! If I can keep myself awake 🥱
This is an old #BOTM for December 2021. I didn‘t like the books for that month (in the month I was supposed to be choosing from), or none appealed to me, so they allowed me to choose from certain other BOTM‘s, so I did and something happened that I didn‘t get to read it until now. I can‘t remember what it was bc I have to remember so much that my brain can‘t contain it all.😑Butimglad2breadingnow

1. My oldest daughter‘s German Shepherd. She is so sweet. 🥹
2. My mom. She‘s 88 & I‘m blessed to still have her with me. ❤️
3. My oldest daughter‘s cat, Bats. He‘s a cutie ☺️
4. My youngest daughter‘s babies, RaRa & Gerald. RaRa used to be my mom‘s cat, but she wasn‘t able to take care of him anymore so my daughter took him. 🐈 #5JoysofFriday
5. Wilamina, my oldest daughter‘s other cat. She is sweet too 🥰
4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - This was a really good read. I would have given it 5 ⭐️s but I was disappointed in the ending. It wasn‘t bad, just not enough to me. I hope you get what I mean. It was very interesting. Read it fairly quickly for me. Some language, but not much. No bad sexual content, but some. Just giving those who look for those things a heads up. Recommend to all. This was my Book of the Month for February. #BookoftheMonth #LitsyReads #Read2025
My New Year Kindle Challenge accomplishments 🙂 I think I‘m doing pretty good. I‘ve read a lot more but this is just my Kindle. Happy Sunday and Happy Reading to everyone! #NewYearKindleChallenge2025 #KindleChallenge #ReadingGoals
Reading this today. It‘s my Book of the Month pick for February. Yep I‘m late getting started 😩 but it‘s been busy this month for me, in my mind and just stuff going on to keep me from starting. This book is a crime/mystery/fiction novel by Kristin Koval. So far it‘s a great read. So I‘ve high hopes for this one. Happy Reading! #LitsyReads #BookoftheMonth #crimemystery #fiction #crime #Reads2025
This one was just okay for me. I liked the still-yet-to-figure-it-out romance between Leo and Jasper. I liked the mystery and story. But it wasn‘t really intriguing or interesting. Interesting, but not REALLY interesting. I wanted to know what happened next but not in-a-way like I gotta know NOW. Towards the end it did get more intriguing, but it was still just an okay read for me. #LitsyReads #2025Reads #NetGalley #ARC #Mystery
My #ChatterDay is full of rain. Lots of rain expected and possibly flooding. ☔️🌧️🌂 Right now I‘m getting ready to read some and thought I would introduce you to my #WinterRead2025 🙂
Update : I bailed on this one bc it was my winter read & I wasn‘t able to get it finished in the winter, so now I‘m uninterested in it 🤭😂. I put it back on my shelf. May start again next winter 😂
Been reading this all day. Trying to get it finished. #LitsyReads #NetGalley #crimemystery
Great mystery by Darcie Wilde. Loved the story and writing! Very intense and suspenseful, but not overwhelmingly disturbing. Just a little more than a cozy mystery. I love that Rosalind Thorne is a somewhat detective.😃 A woman and in that day?!😎 I loved Rosalind‘s and Adam‘s romance . So much love, respect and understanding. I have read this author before but I think this one is my favorite and most interesting.
