

Another shot from #afwd2017. I wouldn't classify the Callahan Garritty books as cozies. They're light-ish, but she tackles racism, homelessness, and other social issues that I don't think you find in a cozy mystery. They read a little dated because they from the early 90s, but it's actually refreshing to see Callahan have to chase down info and not just whip out a smartphone. She's a PI, so that doesn't fit the cozy amateur sleuth genre rules.
