In honor of Catherine's First Night at the Abbey tonight's cocktail is a Dark & Stormy Night. Traditionally made with Gosling's Black Rum & garnished w/Lime. Made w/ Cayman Reef Black Rum. It's what Himself had. He's the Rum drinker. Had fresh Lime Juice in the fridge because earlier this week I sqoze limes that we're about to go North. None for garnish & went w/ Orange Slice. Recipe below. 🌩

Happy Friday! What‘s everyone drinking this weekend?? I‘ve been experimenting with the drinks in my Gin Austen cocktail book. This one is called Short and Longbourn (get it? Pride and Prejudice? 😉). We had to tweak it a bit because we did not have grapefruit juice but it was still delicious!

Happy Friday! We kick off the Weekend with the Jane's Addiction Cocktail. Gin and Pomegranate Juice, Splash of Lime, and Topped with Pink Bubbles. Sadly I didn't have any Raspberries to Garnish; but I can as the book says "ponder Jane's Love of Love. Tastes a bit like a grown up Hawaiian Punch.???

Tonight's Cocktail is the Gin Austen from book of same name. It's refreshing mix of Gin, Lillet, Orange Bitters, Sage, and Lemon.
Nice use of fresh Sage leaves in the Summer. 🍸
