ValerieAndBooks I‘ve been wanting to read this — stacking so I don‘t forget! How much Dust Bowl references? Curious because my maternal grandparents lost their farm (in Oklahoma ) to it and then migrated to California. 7y

ValerieAndBooks Not too much in front of the grandkids. The stories I‘ve heard have been mainly through my mom. My mom (their youngest of 6) was born in one of the migrant worker camps. 7y
