Quirkybookworm @bookandbedandtea @Vertabrain No,not near the fires but five of my friends had to evacuate. Durango's my hometown. The fire may get as bad as the Missionary Ridge fire. 😯 They really could use the rain. I'm on the Western Slope also😊 6y

bookandbedandtea @RainyDayReading I liked the "too rainy" and "vampires?" notes in your area. It's funny though- you know my hubs is from there, but in all the years we've gone there to visit I've NEVER had a rainy trip. We've always had beautiful weather. ? 6y

bookandbedandtea @Vertabrain @AmyG @Quirkybookworm I really hope we get enough rain to impact these fires. My happy place is Glenwood, which often includes side trips to Vail or Aspen. Especially the John Denver garden in Aspen...I can spend hours there! 6y
Vertabrain I read at the John Denver Sanctuary all the time. We actually just bought property outside of New Castle, and hope to move there full-time after our daughter‘s graduate from high school in a few years. Wow, it‘s a small world. I‘m new to Litsy, but it‘s fun to “meet” other people from the same area. 6y
