Hot Dudes Reading is a book for book nerds and was created after the success of the Instagram account. This consists of pictures of men reading on all the major New York subway routes followed by cheeky but sometimes way too much over sexualization of the author‘s fantasies. The interviews of the men in the original posts were a good idea but the questions the author‘s asked just made it a little uncomfortable at times.

I absolutely LOVE that Michael Scott has gone off and made Shakespeare literally immortal! #cheeky #shakespeare #michaelscott #theaorceress #secretsoftheimmortalnicholasflamel

GingerAntics @readinginthedark it combines history, mythology, and fantasy into this really interesting combination. The reading level isn't hard at all, but they're fairly chunky books. The whole series takes place in less than a month. It's awesome. 7y
readinginthedark Very cool, I didn‘t know the storyline was so fast. I might pick them up on audio so I can read it faster. Which is the first one, The Alchemyst? 7y
GingerAntics @readinginthedark yeah The Alchemyst is the first one. If you have an iPhone you can actually make siri read to you. It's not quite as pretty, but it's not bad and you get more control over the speed. I generally have siri read to me at 3x-4x normal speed. Check to see if there is an audio book of The First Codex (books 1-3 in one volume). It's cheaper to buy the ebooks that way. 7y
GingerAntics @readinginthedark however you get them, I would suggest always having the next book handy, because none of the books have an ending at all (accept the last one), they literally just stop, and the next continues. It's like a bloody "to be continued" sign at the end of 5 episodes of a TV show in a row. lol 7y
readinginthedark 😂That‘s hilarious! I am the champion of long breaks between series books, but I‘m trying to be better about it. My library does a good job of having all of the books in a series, at least. 7y
GingerAntics @readinginthedark I'm usually that way, too. These have this power to just keep me going until the end, because there is just no resolution. It's like they just ran out of paper, but not. lol 7y
