My picture of the cover didn‘t come out quite right I apologize. I loved the book though and Gertie is fluffin‘ great. I missed her and I can‘t wait until I can get my hands on volume 7. It‘s on order at the library.

I loved being back with Gertrude. She hasn‘t changed at all. This volume was sparkling with writer‘s joy.

I also loved chapter 5 where you can download a song and have it playing while you‘re “reading” the fight game.

I love being back with Gertrude again

It was an okay graphic novel. I don't know a lot about the main character, but I did like the plot of the story. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 stars.

#AboutABook Day 22: #YouGifted our college kid who is fascinated with Junji Ito. Maybe this will serve as a new addiction.

Everything from the atmospheric color palette to the figuration to the truly bizarre final days of Stalin are so masterfully crafted here. Love the absurdity that reality delivers- just wish something like this would befall the current leadership… shouldn‘t be too much to ask- peace!
