Good ending to a fun trilogy! Meghan March books are always a good time (pun intended).

This is a best friend's sister romance and as such has a dash of forbidden romance. I found it more on the fluff side. I liked the characters and the plot worked. However, there were a few things that happened that in real life would not have turned out so good. I perfer my fiction to be more on the plausible side. Overall enjoyed. 3.5⭐️

Not strictly book related, but the word “candy” always makes me think of the song “I Want Candy”, and this was the version that I most remember as it was released when I was a teenager.

My rating may be generous. Parts of this book are cute but the ending, in which Gemma narrates everything that we *just read,* unintentionally mimicking the repetition of the relived time loop the characters are stuck in, was the least of the book‘s problems. Some quotes:
“He softly laughed” (76)
“Jack quietly laughed” (86)
“He gently laughed” (95)
“Jack quietly laughed” (134)
“Patrick quietly laughed” (169)
“She quietly laughed” (272)
Etc.

This book took me by surprise. I absolutely loved Tyler and felt for him. It was obvious from early on that he was not where he was meant to be. Then he meets his soul mate and you know there will be consequences. Though I don't condone their actions, I still sympathize with the characters. I love when an author makes me feel so much. Great story.

Running behind, I meant to post this a couple of days ago. Also, behind on reviews. Hope to caught up in the next few days.
The best of trilogy probably because we didn‘t have a male physical therapist = to sex dispenser. My least favorite series from this author who I recalled as being refreshing. I hadn‘t read her work for years so maybe she just doesn‘t hold up. Not that I think romance is great literature but there are some stories I have read, and reread, with great enjoyment over the decades. PRO: disability rep, POC rep, boundary setting, respectful partners
In my head I like this author but this series not so much. I didn‘t particularly care for premise of orgasms as reward for exercise. It‘s short. Reading to catch up on characters for her latest book. She does write interesting characters and healthy-ish interactions. I think it may have been poorly edited but it‘s been a minute. Also misuses some bdsm terminology
