so-soSpotted that I had missed the final book in this series that I used to love and downloaded for my hols. Whilst Carson was as smart as ever this is missing a number of the things that made me enjoy the original books so much. Here 2 nursery catapult Ryder from Florida and away from restarting his partnership and across the country where lots of things happen to people it was hard to care about. I give it a so so maybe out of nostalgia #serieslove

City dwellers have purchased the old Hadley house, aiming to turn the haunted place into a luxury B&B. Olivier immediately becomes the main suspect of killing the poor old man in his cafe. It takes the detectives an immense amount of time to even discover who the man was, much less his murderer. This fifth ⬇️

I enjoyed this more than any since the first book. The romance is really heating up and there is *drama*! And the solutions of the mysteries are cleverly deduced.
I'm hoping the next book will have a HEA because I'm not sure my heart can take much more!
