3✨ A great early reader chapter book that teaches a bit about ancient Egyptian customs. They even solve a puzzle to help the queen whose eye sight is hindering her from going to the afterlife. Read to my son for bedtimes. #SeriesLove

3✨Still struggling with all the POVs and characters, but a little easier to follow along this time. I‘m not sure I comprehended everything that was going on, but I really like Skedi and Inara. We learn more about her in this book. There is a lot more power seen by some of the characters, and Kissen still really strong and awesome! #HTBookClub #SeriesLove

TheSpineView Great job! So hard to finish books that are lackluster. 1w

Past Present Future | Rachel Lynn Solomon

Unlike others, I liked this more than the first book, probably because I find YA about type A students kind of tiresome. Also, it's so relatable in its depiction of the highs and lows of beginning college. I really liked how it interrogated what the HEA looks like for a very young couple, with honestly and hopefulness.

3✨ This has to be my least favorite so far. It had gripping action, and continued where the previous book left off. There was nothing wrong with it minus me not being as engaged or invested. Still I am excited to see what happens next with two books left in this series. #SeriesLove

TheSpineView Great job! 3w
Butterfinger I think this is the first time I have seen an Anthony book on Litsy. Is this Xanthian? My husband's favorite writer and when I told him I read A Spell for Chameleon in middle school, he knew I was the one. 3w
Roary47 @Butterfinger Awww so cool! This is the Kelvin of Rudd series. I‘ll be reading the last two soon. 🥰 3w

3✨I was going to unhaul the whole series until this story. Adam is now old enough (sort of) to enlist in the war. Being a kids story it is really mild, but it does go through the hard truth of war. Not everyone makes it, and there is significant growth from not just this book, but to complete the series as a coming of age story. #SeriesLove #DogsofLitsy

Getting my stack of books together for April and it's about a half a cat high. It's way too ambitious given I don't read that many physical books any more. We'll see though. I do have spring break and lighter nights coming up. I'll tag the books in the comments because I also have a bunch of audiobooks and kindle books I want to get to too. Oh and a trip to the library today to pick up some more holds...

CatMS I'm finding I'm reading and enjoying more physical books and less on my Kindle. Kindle is for night reading in bed. Of course audiobooks are for my commutes, even on short commutes to the market. 1mo

3✨ After Pearl Harbor, Adam and his family move to California where his mom and him start working. Adam receives a letter from his friend Davi from Hawaii about his family being taken because they were born in Japan. This book highlights Japanese internment camps that Adam visits at one point. It also shows how Adam is growing and becoming the man he needs to during this timeframe. #SeriesLove

3✨ This was a really quick novella that brought our characters forward in time about 15 years. I‘ve been liking these characters. There is a huge cliffhanger at the end of this so will need to get the next book really soon. #SeriesLove
