alanacristin Oh, I do love this cover! 📕 This is the first Murakami I read after living in Japan, and the whimsical elements are somewhat surpassed by the depression and isolation of the characters. Now I have to be in the right mood for Murakami cult time 😜 9y

alanacristin I think my issue reading him now is that before i found the whole cold, urban Japanese existence kind of romantic until I lived it 🤔 I'm looking forward to restarting 1Q84 though it's weighty to hold over baby's head 😜 9y
