Y'all. My TBR list is unmeasurable since joining Litsy. Those of you who can knock out 20-25 books a month, TEACH ME YOUR WAYS! How in the world do you do it? #dangresponsibilities
GypsyKat I'm with you! And the most I think I've ever done in a month is twelve or thirteen. It's rough. 8y
Lindsbooklover93 I read 7 last month. I thought that was really good. Usually all the books I read are about 500 pages or more. I would love it if I could read 20. 8y
LaraReads Some here! I'm in awe of everyone on here. It's always so many books, so little time for me! 😭 8y

JacintaMCarter I decided a long time ago that reading is more important than sleeping, so I just stay up super late reading every night. But I don't necessarily recommend this. 8y
josie281 @JacintaMCarter is Wonder Woman and I'm old and need more sleep than she. I read audiobooks as well as traditional books. Audiobooks at work, gym, car, and when I do housework. I only had 14 books last month, but 7 were audio. 8y
julesG It's not a competition! I'm also often awed when I see other Littens stats at the end of the month and I have to remind myself that we are not competing. That helped me not to feel inadequate. 8y
Notafraidofwords I usually just try to enjoy the time that I do have. I read about 4 a month. On a good month. 8y
minkyb It is daunting at the end of each month to see people's "stats." I read because I have always loved the act of reading (a physical book and now kindle). I love litsy because I never feel like it is a contest, just folks sharing their passion. 4 books a month for me is average. My brain and heart could not handle more since I usually need time to immerse or recover! 8y

Gryffindorian @bookish22 @minkyb @Notafraidofwords @julesG @josie281 @JacintaMCarter @LaraReads @Lindsbooklover93 @GypsyKat Thank you for your help! For me, it's not competition, it's straight jealousy. 😂 There are so many books I want to read but just can't find the time. And it seems I'm doomed because I'm a one-book-at-a-time kinda gal! I just get too invested into the characters... So major kudos to those of you who can read AND listen to audio! 👏🏼😊📚 8y
GypsyKat I'm generally a one book at a time person, too. The only exceptions are when they're completely different books, like a book of poetry and a novel, or very sometimes an audio book (which I can listen to while I'm painting or crafting of what not) and a print book for the times I can sit and read. There never seems to be enough time, though! 8y
josie281 definitely not a competition! I tend to read four to five different books at a time so I have one that fits my mood! 8y
[DELETED] 206653737 You can always read and listen to the same book if you can find the audio version. That might help sometimes. 8y
