@Amiable I couldn‘t help but to notice the cute ears on your Brady. We got our Birdie (another B name!) from a rescue and the first thing we noticed about her was her adorable ears. It‘s one of the many things we love about her 🥰 #dogsoflitsy

I did a search for good but underrated mystery books and these sounded interesting - let me know what you think j @TheAromaofBooks @robinb @bookandbedandtea

robinb These all sound good, Denise! Judging from blurbs I‘d probably go with Jar City, The Midnight Witness, Northern Spy and then the Woodstock…but I‘m good with the consensus. 😊 7mo
bookandbedandtea I've read Jar City and Northern Spy. Either of the other two sound good to me! 7mo
Jerdencon Any preferences @TheAromaofBooks? 7mo
TheAromaofBooks I haven't read any of these, so I am fine with whichever one works best!! Probably a slight inclination to The Midnight Witness out of the two that @bookandbedandtea hasn't read yet. @robinb 7mo
bookandbedandtea Sounds great! 7mo

TheAromaofBooks @Jerdencon - I received your books over a week ago and just keep forgetting to post anything!!! @bookandbedandtea did you get the books I sent to you? 5mo
bookandbedandtea @TheAromaofBooks Yes I did! Sorry, I keep forgetting to post also. @Jerdencon I still haven't mailed the next book to you and I apologize. 😵‍💫 Lately I just collapse when I'm finished with work but I promise I'll get it sent next week. 5mo
Jerdencon @TheAromaofBooks glad you got them. 5mo
Jerdencon @bookandbedandtea no worries! Send it when you have time! 5mo
TheAromaofBooks @bookandbedandtea - No worries on not posting about their arrival, I think I got the books Denise sent back at the end of July and yesterday was the first time I remembered to mention it 😂 5mo

Not in my top favorites of the year but still a good read. In The Year of Second Chances the MC Robin learns that her deceased husband set her up a dating profile for her to move on a year after his death. The book follows her along the journey of really dealing with her grief and ultimately finding herself with what is next. She learns it's ok to take care of yourself after she's taken so much time caring for everyone else.

Not the kind of thing I'd recommend to everyone, but if you're considering "putting yourself out there" and feeling unsure, this book can serve as a nice little pep talk from an expert that could help ease your mind and know what to expect. I was already thinking about dating again for the first time in 4 years when I started this. It made me feel better about that decision and now I'm happily dating and feeling better about it than ever before ?
