Also, I really enjoyed Ramsey's book - we've used our personal modification of his budgeting system for several years now and it really has helped us save money. So much of it is just mental - his reminder that you can either plan where you want your money to go or look and see where it went helps me think about my spending all the time!! 3y

Bookishlie It is helping me with my book buying ban! No bought books so far this year! I have to buy one tomorrow but it‘s for a class so doesn‘t count:) 3y

Dave Ramsey's Complete Guide to Money: The Handbook of Financial Peace University | Dave Ramsey

We started this book/course/plan last night with our church LifeGroup. So far it makes some really valid points and made us really look at our money/spending. It‘s definitely a change in thinking process because the word ‘budget‘ just sounds bad, but this puts a positive spin on things. We‘ve made our ‘zero-based budget‘ & will be ready to start this process when our checks hit the bank tomorrow! Hopefully this helps us! Extra money would be nice!

vkois88 Lol I also have issues with people making money off telling people who don't have money what to do with theirs... and charging extraordinary prices for those books. If you have financial issues, why purchase a pricey book about not having them 🤔🤔🤔 5y

Hestapleton Ugh, also his books suck for people who don‘t have money. Like, yes, Dave, I‘m not going to Starbucks because that $5 has to go somewhere else! It‘s not like I can cut that out so I can save more! 🙄🙄🙄 5y

jpmcwisemorgan My colleague at work has to listen to her sister-in-law about Dave Ramsey. He might have some good ideas but mostly I don‘t have the money to do anything. I guess I could cut out buying books??? 5y
