I'm pretty sure the B. S. Kids introduced me to my first vampire. I'll nudge my kids toward this series. I'd love for them to love fantasy.

I finished the 4th book of the M. I. a few weeks ago and I'll check out the last two very soon. I like the vampires in this series- they're creepy and more old school, I think- I have not read Stoker or Rice. @freyaheart

I think I'll have to buy another copy of Twilight, because I can't seem to find mine. But I first read this series when I was in grade seven, and it sparked a long love affair with vampire lit.
