pickI sobbed my way through the last 20%. Annabeth Albert is tops at crafting chemistry-laden romances between characters with realistic hangups that impact their relationships in tense but workable ways. These guys genuinely admire one another, and it's always obvious that what they share is worth fighting for. There's a strong focus on consent and boundaries, too; an Albert hallmark. I plan to charge straight into her next #gaymers novel.
