One of my many goals for 2024 is to get 12 challenging classics off my physical TBR
Some of these are modern classics, some older. All of which I have had for a while and which I am fairly intimidated by.

ChaoticMissAdventures @GinaKButler is there a best time of year to read Middlemarch? Doctor Zhivago feels like it gives winter vibes so I want to start there but if any of these are summer books I want to keep them for my July/August reads! 4mo

GinaKButler @ChaoticMissAdventures I read it in April of 2020 while we were on lockdown. The season felt right…one of the plot lines is prepping the hospitals for a cholera outbreak, which was perfect because there was a definite sense of “this, too, shall pass.” 4mo
