I‘m having to stop every chapter or two. Excellently written. I was in college when this happened...I remember it, but wasn‘t glued to the news, so I‘m taking the time to look up people in the book. In each of these school shootings, it‘s astounding how many signs were ignored. 😩

Holy moly! This is officially my new favorite Riley Sager book. I‘ll admit, it took me a littler but to get going, but I definitely did not see where Sager was going to take this. I can‘t stop thinking about it!

It‘s my month to pick for our book club. Who has already read this? It‘s been sitting on my shelf for three years! The discussion will be interesting for sure! 📚

Victoriahoperose It‘s really good. Very informative and objective. It‘s very fact based. I also really liked A Mother‘s Reckoning which is more emotion based as it is the mother‘s viewpoint. I‘m interested in what you‘re book club will think collectively! 3mo
Butterflyamore It‘s a good book but definitely an emotionally trying read! 3mo

Reagan-reads I loved the book. He did a great job going over all the various theories and I found his final theory highly plausible. 3mo

GinaKButler @Smrloomis He did both! He was very charming, and I loved his back story about a boyhood “love triangle” that inspired the characters in this book! 3mo

Pickpick

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What didn‘t work: 1) why would a mom (who is a Dr.!) let her teen be in charge of oxy post-op and 2) why is there a theme of “not being rich/can‘t afford college without a softball scholarship” if mom is, indeed a doctor? But, if you can get past that, this is a brutal account of a student athlete getting hooked on opioids and how it spirals out of her control. It‘s really terrifying...and a necessary read. I couldn‘t put it down.

I just finished At Home & it fell a little flat for me. In both of these books, the authors travel the world with young children, “world-schooling” as they go. In the case of At Home, I found myself wanting more. Why did they love Uganda so much? How did they choose their route? What was their budget? 360 Degrees, IMO is so much more forthcoming and includes diary excerpts from the whole family...it would definitely be my pick between the two.
